Books
- I recently loved Lights Out in Wonderland by DBC Pierre, and I already got Ludmilla's Broken English, so those are not on here. Hmm.
- Most anything on Psychotherapy/Psychoanalysis/Psychiatry:
- Reihe Forum der psychoanalytischen Psychosentherapie (ausser: Psychosenkonzepte im historischen Kontext, Psychoanalytische Psychosentherapie und Sozialpsychiatrie)
- Wilhelm Reich, Jacques Lacan, Anna Freud, C. G. Jung, Melanie Klein, ...
- Perfumes: The A-Z Guide.
Luca Turin, Tania Sanchez (preferably the newer paperback, frequently available at affordable used prices, e. g. from Abebooks, amazon, etc.)
Perfumes
- Essentially anything Chanel No 5 (or 22 or possibly the rather more greener 19, and most of all the somewhat even more unaffordable Cuir de Russie, except for the Poudre varieties)
- The more I get to know of Guerlain's line the more I get to love them. Insolence has 5 stars in Turin/Sanchez' guide *wink* *wink* (of course so has Knize Ten which I already own, and I would never have guessed the purported strawberry notes)
- Samples. The Perfumed Court and Surrender To Chance have great stuff, be it vintage or modern ...
- Almost anything from Le Labo, some of the city exclusives might be interesting (e. g. the Paris Vanille 44)
- Almost anything from Guerlain - still haven't managed to get a decent sample of L'Heure Bleue. The L'Art Et La Matière Line is to die for, but I have or am getting samples/decants of most.
- Lalique Encre Noire (e. g. from Iparfumerie)
